History of the PRADO Radiator Factory
The PRADO steel panel radiator plant ranks first in both production and, most importantly, sales of steel panel radiators in Russia.
We have maintained this leading position since 2016.
2005
The history of the PRADO radiator plant began in 2005, in Izhevsk, Udmurt Republic, based on one of the country’s leading industrial technology institutes.The institute’s main specialisation included all types of material welding (argon-arc, plasma, contact, electron beam, laser). Thanks to scientific research and extensive welding experience, our PRADO steel panel radiators have a key advantage for heating devices: the high quality of their welded joints.
The plant’s first production line was created entirely from scratch by its own specialists.
The result was a high-quality product with strong competitive advantages over other heating devices.
The production facility was subsequently upgraded several times — in 2007, 2011, and 2016.
What the plant was at the beginning is very different from what it has become today.
2005-2006
In 2005–2006, only 34,000 radiators were produced per year.But every year output increased, and after the introduction of the second line in 2011, annual production grew to an impressive 240,000 units.
Production has been upgraded and further automated every year.
2016
In 2016, a modern Italian-made LEAS welding line was launched — the first of its kind in Russia.Since then, a completely new, modern automated radiator production facility has operated at a level comparable with the best European and other international manufacturers.
2018
In 2018, the PRADO radiator plant passed certification tests and received a certificate of compliance with GOST 31311-2005 for its heating devices, confirming the quality and safety of its products.
2019
In 2019, the plant expanded its range, launching production of vertical PRADO radiator models.
2020 - 2021
In 2020, production of radiators with heights of 400 and 600 mm began.
Today, the PRADO steel panel radiator plant is one of the largest modern facilities in Russia and the Customs Union countries for the production of steel panel radiators.
Over the past 16 years, our factory has produced more than 6,000,000 radiators, including a record 872,000 units in the steel panel radiator segment in 2021.
2023
Production of PRADO Style radiators began in March 2023.
The PRADO Style series of hygienic radiators fully complies with building regulations and can be installed in rooms with strict hygiene requirements.
